VIEW FROM HYDE PARK NEW YORK by W H Bartlett (American 1809-1854) WILLIAM HENRY BARTLETT (1809 - 1854) was trained as an architect, but became a prolific print illustrator, who contributed to a remarkable number of engravings during his brief career.
He was a topographical illustrator who was articled to John Britton. He travelled extensively, visiting Syria, Egypt, Palestine and America. He died on this voyage around the world at sea at the tender age of 45 years. This is a very good HANDCOLORED ART PRINT on Textured Paper.
