TIS THE BLOOM OF SUMMER by Petula Stone
Petula has been an illustrator for over 25 years and her work has appeared in children's books and magazines, on packaging and greetings cards and prints and stamps and on TV.
She has worked with major design groups both here and abroad for clients such as Harrods, Marks and Spencer, Boots, Waitrose, the London Herb and Spice Company and Scottish Fine Soaps.
Her styles of work are decorative and varied from detailed botanical obsevations to loose free watercolour painting. Although watercolour is her favoutrite medium, she also uses oil pastels, acrylics and collage.
As well as being a busy illustrator, Petula also runs workshops from her studio in Suffolk and teaches at the University of Cambridge Botanic Garden and West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds.
