Very special among Santa Fe art galleries is William Vincent Fine Art, located on historic Canyon Road. William Vincent (1939-2004) was one of Santa Fe's and America's foremost Impressionist artists. Vincent first moved to Santa Fe in 1956 and painted New Mexico and other locations with his bold and exciting style. He studied with the late Alfred Morang, who moved to Santa Fe in 1937 and lived and painted on Canyon Road.
The remarkable talent of William Vincent is demonstrated in his new work from his painting trips to Ireland, Italy, Greece, France and Spain, along with Africa, China, Russia, India, Egypt, the Amazon and the Islands, which enhances his Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico paintings. Vincent was best known for his strong brushwork, vivid colors and magical designs and layouts.
William Vincent was one of the most important artists in America.
