The Gettysburg Address by Paul Immel
Watercolorist, commercial artist. Born in Helena, MT on Oct. 30, 1896. Immel studied at the Ball School of Art in Minneapolis and in 1924 moved to Los Angeles where he further studied at Otis Art Institute for six years. He then moved to Seattle, WA where he was employed by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and taught art at Broadway High School, Edison Technical School, and Burnley Art School. Immel died in Seattle on May 15, 1964. He is best known for his watercolors of flowers. Member: Puget Sound Group of NW Painters
