PORCELAIN AND ROSES by Joyce Pike
California-based artist, teacher and author, Pike has been recognized throughout the world. She serves Oil Painters of America as Chairman of the Masters Advisory Board and as author of Masterstrokes for the OPA newsletter.
Joyce Pike is best known for her beautiful floral oil paintings. However, recently she has culminated many years of preparation of a series of ten paintings telling the story of the life of Jesus Christ through his birth, baptism, teachings, crucifixion and resurrection. Eight of these paintings are currently displayed at the Oak Park Christian Church in Grover Beach, CA.
