Diego Rivera was not only a fantastic muralist, but an incredible person with an extraordinary personality. Many wonder, looking at his large body and frog like features, what attracted Frida Kahlo (the famous Mexican painter,international beauty,icon, and current cult figure) to him. Once you have seen his paintings and read about his life, there is no question why women found him to be a remarkable man.
When Diego was painting, he was constantly putting on a show. Crowds would gather as Diego would tell magnificent tales while creating a masterpiece that would live forever. His stories would leave people shocked, amazed, and needing to hear more. Mr. Rivera worked up to his death on November 25, 1957, and left behind a huge amount of fantastic works of art.
