MOMENT MUSICALE by Marquerite Pearson (1898-1978)
Born in Philadelphia, Margaret Pearson had childhood polio that confined her to a wheel chair, but she overcame that condition to have a distinguished career as a painter of exquisite interior scenes, figures and still life.
She studied with William James and Frederick Bosley at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School and studied figure painting with Edmund Tarbell. In 1941, she moved to Rockport, Massachusetts where she had been spending her summers. She was an active painter until age 80
